Best family hotel
We had a fantastic time here and will most difinately be returning. The shows in the evening are superb and very professionally done. The best family hotel we have stayed in benidorm. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a fun packed holiday. A+++++++

great hotel
great hotel, has everything for all ages, felt the bathrooms wee a bit unsatisfactory, ceiling tiles required replaced in the shower area and the flooring could be replaced, older gent at the bar a bit grumpy

Nice place
A nice place with very nice staff.The entertainment was ok but when it was the groups doing the entertainment it was very good. Location is good as well

Best holiday so far
Everything about rio park is great . The staff , the room , entertainment , food choice and the pool and games . Perfect location for beach and nightlife . Will be returning again , thankyou .

Good But......
My family and I stayed at the Rio Park last week in a superior twin and two single rooms. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay superior room was clean and comfortable with a large walk in shower the singles were small and a little cramped but my brother and sister -despite being disabled, said they were fine with them and would stay in them again. The hotel itself has not changed much over the last few years, the swimming pool is lovely and clean and the deeper pool is never crowded when I stay. The night entertainment show is always of a reasonable standard and at times excellent. There is always a large selection of food with roast beef, roast lamb and pork on offer several nights. The spread on the 50th anniversary night was superb! There are just a few things that let my stay down, one is the shortage of umbrellas around the pool which are crucial in hot sunny weather. On our last morning, all umbrellas were reserved by 7.45 despite being told you cannot enter area until 8.00 and so my sister and I had to sit on upper terrace instead of round the pool. The location of our rooms regarding my disabled sisters closeness to myself and brother was not great- she was on the second, he was on the third and I was on the eleventh floordespite email requests and phone calls for my brother to be on the same floor. Understanding the hotel was full and they cant please everyone I said this was fine we could contact each other by phone if there were any problems -but alas two of the phones werent working properly and even reception couldnt get through to my room. Reported first day they were still not working right by the end of our stay. Also the patio door in my superior room had a loose catch and at times did not close properly so the air conditioning did not come on - this was only explained to me after suffering an extremely hot night in my room with very little sleep. You literally had to slam the door so there was not the slightest gap the catch was still bent and loose when I left. The Amigo Card desk was unmanned whenever I was in the hotel and reception could not help with checking the registration of my card. Despite these problems we will all go back again, we love it.

Have stayed here many times now and have enjoyed every one, we were a bit annoyed that we could not stay in our room on the departure day till later as our coach was not picking us up for our late flight till 5:45 p.m. so had nowhere to rest or shower to freshen up for the long journey home

Anniversary holiday
It was our 35th wedding anniversary so we decided to take a weeks holiday in benidorm. We chose the Rio Park, as we had been there before and felt it was good value for money. We had a superior club room as a treat, and were on the eleventh floor. The room was spotlessly clean, decorated in white with old gold accessories. When we arrived, our safe didnt work properly, but I told reception and a handyman was there straight away to fix it, brilliant service. We had complimentary bathrobes and slippers, a fridge and kettle with good size mugs to make tea or coffee. Good balcony, overlooking the pool and outside stage. A neat bathroom with a walk in shower, hairdryer and toiletries, etc, finished off the facilities. Overall, we felt it was a nice room with the litte extra touches that add to your comfort on holiday, but there were a couple of little things that would have really been useful. A soap dish, or somewhere to put the shower gel would be handy, and a shower curtain would keep the water where its supposed to be. The chairs on the balcony were sturdy, but not very comfortable, so there wasnt anywhere to sit except on the bed. An armchair would have been nice. The rest of the hotel facilities were very good, great for families, lovely pool, entertainment every night, activities during the day as well. A large and comfortable poolside seating and sunbathing area, plus main bar and a pub bar. Food was fine, something to suit all tastes. Apart from the small changes in the room, we felt the Rio Park offers good value holidays for everyone. I would also recommend that holidaymakers learn a little basic Spanish, it makes all the difference.

Holiday
Excellent stay as always just a shame the rooms are not big enough for families

Another great stay
Stayed in a superior room this time, couldnt fault it. Bathroom was incredible. Only downside was the air con. Have stayed in this hotel many times and the air has been second to none but this time it was not the best. Hardly felt any cold air the whole 4 days we were there. Other than that, 5 as always including the food.
