perfect holiday again

As always thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rio Park. It has to be the best hotel in Benidorm for a happy relaxed atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff and other guests make for a very happy holiday. There is always a good selection of good quality food. The animation team together with the tribute acts cannot be beaten for entertainment. In fact we never need to leave the hotel at night because of the variety of entertainment on offer, often attracting guests from other hotels to visit. The only negative is the state of the bathrooms. The rooms themselves are fine, spotlessly clean as are the bedding etc. There are ongoing makeovers on the top floors where the refurbished rooms are super, but I think it will be a very long time for each floor to reach that level. In the meantime a bit of TLC on the normal rooms would be a vast improvement, not to mention the public toilets on the ground floor. We have stayed in other Hotels in Benidorm, but none comes anywhere near to the Rio for all round satisfaction.

lifts

the hotel was very good our 3rd visit unfortunately we asked for a low floor and was given 4 th my wife cannot use the outside lifts and I was not able to walk up and down the stairs but advice was given by the front desk as to get round the problem when we book again in October

Rio park

Hotel was in good location got put in room A5 which was by the pool but the next room must have been used by staff for something they talked loudly and the door was getting slammed quiet alot

January 2018

We are regular guests at the hotel and we have never had any faults . The staff at the hotel are great and the food is great . A great entertainment team that always keep everyone entertained Day and night . I would also like to thank the staff on reception for their very quick response and help and support when my aunt fell in the bathroom . We cannot thank them enough . We will be back at the Rio Park in September and January 2018.

Holiday January and Feb.2017

We had been emailed information about room refurbishment work being done during our stay so we feared the worst. However we found that the disruption and noise were minimal. Also reducing the working lifts from 5 to 3 did not give too much trouble either. We have stayed in the Rio Park many times over the years and seen many changes mostly for the better. The food has much improved and is at its best ever. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Entertainment very good if you can get a seat. Will come again and look forward to seeing or staying in one of the new rooms. But at what price?

January 2017

Our favourite hotel, well placed, great food, close to cabaret bars and pathway down to Levante beach tskes about fifteen minutes stroll. But room offered was A2 which we turned down in September as the aircon didnt work and the room and bathroom needed attention. Still needs attention so we complained and were moved to a room in the main building. Only little grumble is a lack of double beds, otherwise always a pleasant stay.

Value for Money

Our first time at Rio Park. Friends had given it a good report so we gave it a try. We were very happy with everything. The hotel does need redecorating which we believe is starting shortly. Would definitely return & recommend.
