Poor Food and entertainment

I have been to this hotel several times and like it very much, but I have noticed that the last couple of occasions that the food has deteriorated and the evening entertainment needs to be updated as its the same thing every visit. Other than that I love the hotel very much, if those two matters where looked into, it would make it a perfect place to stay.

Revisited

Excellent break at Flamingo again. Love it and will always return after about 70 visits since the year after it opened

buena semana de descanso

EN GENERAL LA ESTANCIA HA ESTADO BIEN TANTO LAS INSTALACIONES COMO EL HOTEL EN GENERAL UNA DE LAS UNICAS PEGAS QUE LE HEMOS ENCONTRADO ES LA COMIDA SIMPLE REPETITIVA Y SIEMPRE LO MISMO. ARROZ CON LECHE CALIENTE POSTRES PREFABRICADOS TODOS Y LOS QUE NO SIN GUSTO ALGUNO LAS ENSALADAS SIEMPRE LAS MISMAS LA CARNE Y COSTILLA AL HORNO SIEMPRE LA MISMA SALSA Y LA FALTA DE UN SHOW COCKIN PARA COMER ALGO A LA PLANXA.COCINA SIN IMAGINACION Y ABURRIDA . would ceretainly return with children

would return only a couple of faults would have liked a little dance as adults children,s activities domineer from 8pm on even the midnight disco is all children no shade at pool people were buying beach brollies the return of your plastic drinks cup or no repeat drink unless you have a ticket why on earth do we need the wrist band then? Our only solution is that is saves the staff collecting them

Hi Heather, Thank you for your comments on your stay at the hotel Flamingo Oasis. We are pleased that you had an enjoyable holiday with us and that you thought that there were plenty of things to do, especially for children. It is not allowed to buy parasols and use them around the hotels swimming pool, for safety reasons all parasols need to be fixed to the ground. As well as the fixed parasols, there are also shaded areas in the pool area. The drink ticket is part of a recycling scheme and has not got anything to do with the All Inclusive wristbands. Most of our guests are very positive to this initiative and we hope that all of our guests understand why we have started this new system for the outside area. Let Down

Felt let down charged extra for a club room,to find that I wasnt allowed to use the Facilaties such as the roof top pool and club lounge. Also stood for 10 mins at the designated club check desk with nobody coming to see us. Finally went to the normal check in and joined the queue. Also expensive drinks at 5 euros for two small beers at the pool bar. Most of the room furniture is old and very scuffed. I was also surprised to see queues forming at 8.30 am to reserve sunbeds even though signs all around say its not allowed? Would I come back to this hotel again. NO

Hi Spencer, We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your one night stay at the hotel Flamingo Oasis. The information about only All Inclusive guests being able to use the Club lounge etc. is on the room description before you book your stay and we are very sorry that you did not see this information. It is not allowed to reserve sunbeds and then not use them but guests are allowed to go out and use the sunbeds as soon as the pool area opens at 09:00. Could do better

Rooms in need of updating we stayed in club rooms for the first time and ours 2117 is in need of an uplift also the food seems to have gone downhill this was our 10th stay and each time the food has got worse but having said that i have just booked for June next year. Why cant club room guests get premium drinks down stairs it would save having to go up to the 24th floor to get them on a night

Fantastic stay!

On first arriving we were greeted by friendly hotel staff , Very quick at checking us in and gave us all the information we needed . Room was fantastic , nice size with balcony view ! Only thing was being so high up and being afraid of heights I found it difficult to look over the balcony . The room we had was for 3 adults but there was only 2 single beds pushed together and a single sofa which was fairy small . The bathroom needed modernising shower was very dated along with the tiles and toilet seats but was nice and spacious . Room was cleaned every morning ! The rest of the hotel was modern bright and very clean all round the lifts were a bit of a nightmare . The all inclusive bar didn’t have a great selection only San Miguel . Very limited on what kids could have in terms of snacks and drinks too. Bit disappointing . The food however in morning afternoon and evening was fantastic such a good selection of food !! Not allowed to take food or drink out of the food hall thou . They had a small bar which only sold again San Miguel or wine or water. Plenty of desserts to choose from and it changed daily . The swimming pool was a fairly decent size. Being a busy time of the year it was hard to get a sun bed , and didn’t like the fact people reserved them all day with towels but then headed off out for the day or for breakfast lunch . Staff all very nice . Taxi tank literally right outside. plenty of markets pubs and other eating places not far . The beach took us about 15 mins to walk too . Aqualandia was a 10 minute taxi drive . Costing 5 euros . TUI reps very helpful and booked us trips saving us an absolute fortune . Over all a great stay if you have kids . Very British and family orientated. Thanks you flamingo .

1. INTRODUCTION

At MedPlaya, our customers are our top priority. That's why we have developed the all-new MedPlaya Amigo! Loyalty Programme, designed to offer our direct customers the best prices, favourable conditions, and exclusive offers and benefits.

MedPlaya Amigo! consists of three levels: Holiday Friends, BFFs, and Soulmates. Your level within the programme increases as you accumulate more stays with us, and with each level, you unlock additional benefits.

The following terms and conditions outline how MedPlaya Amigo! works and can be referred to anytime on the MedPlaya Hoteles website: www.medplaya.com.

MedPlaya Amigo! utilizes a Customer Identification Number to identify members. By accepting these terms and conditions, the MedPlaya Amigo! member confirms their awareness and understanding of the programme’s details.

MedPlaya reserves the right to make necessary amendments to the conditions of MedPlaya Amigo! as it deems necessary.

The advantages of MedPlaya Amigo! are applicable to all MedPlaya hotels, with the exception of Resort Giverola & Bella Vista Beach Club.

2. REGISTERING FOR MEDPLAYA AMIGO!

The programme is available to adults over 18 years old.

Official bodies and companies are excluded from the MedPlaya Amigo! programme.

You can register for MedPlaya Amigo! through the following channels:

- The www.medplaya.com website: Fill out the online registration form with your personal information and accept the provided conditions.
- In MedPlaya Hotels: Use the QR code for registration.

Registration for MedPlaya Amigo! program is free. An email address is required to register for MedPlaya Amigo!, and each registration must have a unique email address.

3. MEDPLAYA AMIGO

Once you have completed registration for MedPlaya Amigo!, you can access your personal MedPlaya Amigo! area on www.medplaya.com. This can be done by identifying yourself with your email address or MedPlaya identification number (ID MedPlaya) and password.

Within the MedPlaya Amigo! dashboard, you can:

- View and download your digital MedPlaya Amigo! identification card, which displays your full name and MedPlaya Identification Number (ID MedPlaya).

- Check and update your personal details.

- View your booking history and easily make new reservations.

- Adjust your access settings for the MedPlaya Amigo! private area.

- Make your next reservation at the best price available!

Please note that your MedPlaya Amigo! membership is personal and non-transferable.

* In order that your discount is applied correctly on arrival it is important that you identify yourself using your ID MedPlaya Amigo! or email associated with your account when making your reservation.

4. BENEFITS OF MEDPLAYA AMIGO

As a member of the MedPlaya Amigo! you will be the first to hear of our promotions and offers* and will enjoy discounts and benefits on your direct reservations at all our MedPlaya Hotels, excluding Resort Giverola/Hotel Bella Vista.
*The inclusion in our Newsletter database is a condition of MedPlaya Amigo!

Discounts and benefits are applied based on your MedPlaya Amigo! membership level, all your stays (direct reservations only) count towards your membership level, and discounts, benefits and rewards are applicable on your stays with us when you have made your reservation on our website www.medplaya.com, through our Call Centre, Guest Service Managers, or directly at the hotel Reception.

Please refer to the table below for the different levels and associated benefits:

Your membership level is determined by the number of nights you have stayed with us (only direct reservations confirmed in your name count) in any MedPlaya Hotel within the two years preceding your upcoming reservation check-in date. Please note that membership levels may fluctuate based on this criterion.

Discounts and benefits do not apply to reservations made through third-party agents, online travel agents, or tour operators.

Discounts will be applied to the price of the room occupied by the MedPlaya Amigo! member at check-in, and benefits will be available upon, or shortly after, arrival at the hotel.
Benefits and discounts are not duplicated when more than one MedPlaya Amigo! member occupies a room.

Discounts are applied to the final price of the reservation, excluding extras, and are not aplicable to non-refundable, or prepaid reservations.

5. CANCELLING YOUR MEDPLAYA AMIGO MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the MedPlaya Amigo! programme may be cancelled for the following reasons:

- The user may request to cancel their membership of the MedPlaya Amigo! programme by sending an email to: contact@medplaya.com

- MedPlaya Management reserves the right to the temporary or permanent cancellation of the MedPlaya Amigo! members membership under the following circumstances:

- Improper use of the MedPlaya Amigo! Programme.
- Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions accepted when registering for the programme.
- Inappropriate behaviour at the hotel.
- Cancellation of subscription to Newsletter
- Detection of incorrect data provided when registering for the MedPlaya Amigo! programme.
- The demise of the MedPlaya Amigo! member.
- When no transactions or bookings have been made using your MedPlaya Amigo! account during the past five years.

6. PRIVACY POLICY – DATA PROTECTION

By completing the registration request for the MedPlaya Amigo! programme, the user accepts and authorizes MED PLAYA MANAGEMENT, SL to use and process the personal data provided for the purposes of the customer loyalty programme of the MED PLAYA group, such as the improvement of the commercial relationship with the client and making personalized offers.

Similarly, for the proper fulfilment of the programme, your personal data will be transferred to companies of the MED PLAYA group for the purposes described above.

The Personal Data that you provide will be processed to identify you as a user of the programme and to give you access to the various features and services that are available to users registered in the programme.

The user can, at any time, revoke consent for the processing of their personal data by sending an email to rgpd@medplaya.com. However, the revocation of consent will imply the exclusion of the client from the MedPlaya Amigo! programme.
