Estupendo hotel, recomendable
La comida muy buena, muy atento y agradable el personal, fantasticas terrazas y piscinas, el precio bastante asequible con el todo incluido, nos encanto, lo recomendare a amigos y familiares, este puente de mayo a sido genial, gracias a todo el personal.

my first time. cant wait to go bck again
I went with my dad and 2 yr old boy sept 2012 and found it to be an oustanding hotel. Staff were always happy to assist. Dinning area clean and tidy staff willing to help in any way they can. Looking forward to goin g bck as soon as i can. Loved it

I am 17 and flew out with my family from doncaster 20th july and came back 27th july. The hotel was really clean and sufficient. One ight a thunderstorm knocked down a tree into a pool and by lunchtime the next day staff had cleaned it out of the pool and fully cleaned pool water for the kids. The highlight of it all was the amazing entertainment team they have there. In the day there were 5 main activities for adults and kids club for children. The entertainment team were friendly and well co-ordinated with at least 2 people on each activity. They all dance around the pool every day and people come out and join them it is such a lovely atmosphere. The rest of the staff are helpful and being english I have ordered everything in english and staff help each other to translate what I am saying if I wasnt clear enough. The pools were refreshing and a nice break from all the heat but if you dont like swimming you can join activities, go in games room, get a drink anything really. I strongly reccomend going with thompson/first choice and going all inclusive as the amount there to help yourself to is wonderful. Food is delicous. Going all inclusive meant we had a voucher to go in the alfressco restraunt and I had a salmon steak which was the freshest salmon I have ever had (and I eat plenty of salmon). Children have their own buffet as well. Every night there is a mini disco at nine where entertainers make the children so happy with dancing and games. At ten there is a great show every night (hollywood lights was our favourite). The shows are mostly family friendly however being as they are watershed shows expect a couple of euthanisms and short outfits. Salou itself is a great place with a cute land train to get you about for 3 euros each. The hotel has a shop where you can buy all sorts including inflatables for 3 euros! Amazing holiday and wonderful hotel. It should be a four star so do not be put off by the 3 star!

Hemos quedado sorprendidos y encantados con este hotel
Hemos quedado sorprendidos y encantados con este hotel. Comida muy buena, animacion fantastica, todo en general muy bien. Gracias a Rosario Vega del comedor, por ser tan amable y cariñosa con nuestros hijos, a Diego, Maria y Mafalda por su animacion e incansable sonrisa, y a todos por atendernos tan bien. Volveremos sin duda a este hotel. Gracias por darnos nuestras mejores vacaciones.

Great 3* hotel
My husband & I have just returned from 11nights all inclusive & had a fab time. It isn't luxury but a good 3*.. housekeeping staff work hard to keep it clean. Our room was cleaned daily, even if we wanted a long lie it was cleaned & fresh towels provided later in the day (don't worry about missing breakfast if you fancy a lie in, theres plenty food available at the alfresco snack bar:- bacon rolls, toasties, toast with jam/marmalade, burgers, hot dogs, fresh fruit, yoghurts etc hot/cold drink machines). Theres also ample choices in the main restaurant, with themed nights where the restaurant staff dress in costumes to suit the theme (Chinese, Indian etc). We found the staff throughout the hotel to be friendly & helpful. We mostly enjoyed the evening shows put on by the best entertainment team we have came across on our many holidays (Mama Mia, Dirty Dancing, Hollywood Lights, Grease etc). The entertainers work hard throughout the day with games around the pool & keeping the kids entertained. We didn't go in the pool by choice but other guests used it regularly (a shocked look on their faces on entry but their bodies seemed to adjust to the temp after a min or 2). All in all we enjoyed our holiday here & plan on returning. Go with a positive outlook, remember its 3* not 5* & you'll hopefully enjoy it as much as we did“theres little trains that take you around Salou/Portaventura/Water Park/Cap Salou/La Pineda which stop across from the hotel. Buena relación calidad-precio
Estuvimos el puente del Pilar en Salou y nos cambiaron de hotel en el último momento. Al principio no sabíamos si aceptar o no este hotel pero finalmente acertamos quedándonos con él. Es un hotel antiguo y de 3***. Eso hay que tenerlo en cuenta. Pero para ser de tres estrellas la cena era mejor que en muchos hoteles de cuatro estrellas que hemos estado. La amabilidad del personal excelente. Es cierto que falla en cuanto a mobiliario y limpieza. Podría estar un poco más limpio. Pero valorando en conjunto me parece un buen hotel, y más, si tenemos en cuenta que pagamos 40€ por noche, dos personas en media pensión.

2nd visit
Loved it just got back on the 25th of may and the ver next day booked to go back for the 3rd time.whebn we arrived and checked in and went to the restaurant we were pleased to see the staff actually recognised us from our prior visit which was a nice touch considering its a very busy hotel the work very hard as does the entertainment team kids club was a god send for our two girls food was good as was the beer wine etc cant wait for next years trip see u soon calypso (Martin. Останавливалась в отеле Calypso в сентябре 2012 г, было классно! Отель чистый, с хорошими развлечениями, расположен недалеко от города, рынка, пляжа и автобусных остановок.
