Great holiday

Had a great holiday at Rio Park with my niece in April. Food was excellent, staff are all very helpful and friendly. My niece loved the kids club too. Great entertainment for all. Terrific value for money. Would highly recommend.

A really good hotel

When you are planning a trip to Spain it is worth while going to Benidorm. Ignore what some people say about it being like Blackpool. And, if you go with Thomson Holidays and book to stay in the Rio Park Hotel, I promise you, you won't regret it. The Staff are really Friendly, and the food, well there is so much choice, no-one can go hungry. I have just returned from my seventh visit there, and will go again later this year. Room Tip: Some rooms can be a bit noisy. It is according to what sort of neighbours you have. // bonito75 Reviewed 17 April 2013 / TripadvisorLLC //

My first stay, Girlfriend and in-Laws third or forth

Just got back from 11 nights full board at the Rio Park. Myself, my girlfriend, her mum and two boys (16months and 7 years). Hotel - The hotel is mainly occupied by English and Scottish guests. Most of them are of the older generation, and the entertainment, quizzes etc all reflect this. The hotel is well aware of who they are catering for, and as a result have many guests return yea after year. Housey housey (Bingo) at 8:30 is quite popular, lol. Rooms - are cleaned daily, with fresh towels if you require them. No complaints really. Some of the décor is looking a little tired in some of the rooms though, but it's quite cheap and the rooms are all very liveable. The beds have mattress savers fitted under the sheets, and they can be a little uncomfortable though. Small but useable balcony with two chairs and table. Bad point though - You can smoke on the balconies! I didn't really like this idea (I'm a non-smoker) and old folks and smoking in bedrooms is an eventual recipe for disaster. Pool - Not recommended for any Titanic Captains! There is a strong chance of icebergs! Honestly, this is a shame. The one main feature that would make this an ideal family hotel is not really useable. It's divided into three sections (for safety) and is great. It's just too cold to use! Food - As with most all in deals, the food can be a little repetitive, but it is all of good quality and a decent choice at all meal times. Staff - Can't do enough for you. Every member of staff try to make your stay a little bit better. Special thanks to 'Mati' and also 'Ilyas' in the restaurant. They loved my little boy Harry. Every meal time they would find us and make a fuss of him. He loved it and kept a look out for them too. As I said, top notch service. Location - 5 to 10 minutes walk from the main beach or the old town and Harbour. Can't really complain. Quiet at night too. Good break from the weather here, and I would recommend the hotel. “All rooms have balconies, ours overlooked the road, which made nights and early mornings could be noisy if you had the doors open. I think the rooms overlooking the pool might be quieter. None of the rooms have a particularly great view though as this is in the middle of town surrounded by other hotels/apartments. You might get the odd distant glimpse of a mountain or the sea if you are lucky.” (Rob40-n-Angela39 - Nottingham, UK) reviewed 14 April 2013 / TripadvisorLLC //
