Excellent stay at this lovely hotel

We enjoyed our holiday largely due to the hotel which was a relaxing haven in the hustle and bustle of the busy resort. Generally the staff were very friendly, two of the older spectacled gentlemen on reception seemed to be rather sullen and perhaps not happy with their job. When I asked for some information they were helpful but didnt smile or say hello at all. We stayed in a suite with was expensive but was worth it - especially with a wheel chair user in our group. The room was comfortable, the bathroom massive with a separate shower and big corner bath. The main bed was huge but the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable, so we put a blanket underneath the sheet. Generally the staff were very friendly. There were always sunbeds and parasols available which was appreciated and the pool staff were happy to help and very friendly. Our wheelchair user needed to be near the ramp into the pool and the poolman made sure we had a bed near to this each day which was very much appreciated. All in all an excellent stay and we intend to come back. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. Those looking for banging music and nightclub should look elsewhere.

Muy buena estancia

Instalaciones confortables y de calidad, servicio inmejorable y excelente limpieza. Muy bueno. Lo recomiendo tanto para viajar con niños o matrimonio solos.

Nice return after 15 years

First time round - back in 2001 - we visited the hotel with a 2-year old toddler. Now, 15 years later, it was nice to see the Pez Espada has kept much of its charm: still enjoy the rat pack music, the nice buffets with complementary cava and flower on Friday and the general relaxed and quiet atmosphere a nice oasis on the quite busy Costa Del Sol. Even the kids - the toddler now aged 17 and baby sister of 14 - could appreciate the calm at times. Nice job on the new updated club rooms we had two of them. Overall, well worth the money.

No hemos estado

Lamentablemente, no me he alojado en el hotel en las fechas previstas por enfermedad. La reserva fue cancelada previamente a la fecha de entrada. Afortunadamente, mi salud ha mejorado sensiblemente, y mi esposa y yo nos planteamos la posibilidad de acudir en los primeros días de septiembre, si hubiera disponibilidad. Les agradecería me indicaran si hay habitaciones libres, por ejemplo del 2 al 10 de septiembre, aproximadamente. Muchas gracias por anticipado, Ramón Gijón Maeso

Never disappointed with this hotel. Amazing staff and fantastic location.will continue to recommend. First time booking with med playa direct having always used Thomson. Far better value for money this way, will do this in future. Upgraded rooms are beautiful. Thank you to our pez espada family for welcoming us once again.

Rview of Pez Espada

We were very happy with our stay at your hotel and would certainly stay again. The only negative point for me was the dated room. Some of the furniture is very worn.
