Most times our Guests are interested in booking direct with Medplaya, but they are used to booking their holidays at a travel agent, normally as a package holiday.

Today we would like to introduce you to Skyscanner (www.skyscanner.net)  

It is a free easy-to-use search engine for flights, which helps you find the cheapest ones from your home airport. To spot the best deals, it compares over 1000 airlines and millions of routes.

All we have to do is to introduce the departure and arrival airports, the dates we are looking for, the number of people who are travelling, and click on the ‘Search’ button.

Option to choose the whole month or year to find the cheapest prices

One of the very useful features it offers is the possibility of looking up for the flights on a given month (so you don’t need to mark a specific date). This option lets you check which ones are the cheapest dates to come and visit us during that month! 😉

If you are not sure of at what time of the year you would like to come, you can also check when the best deals from your airport are on offer.

Once you have chosen the months in which you would prefer to travel, Skyscanner will show you the cheapest flights of all airlines on all dates available. You only have to choose what departure and arrival dates do you prefer.

Choose the combination of flights that suit you best and book! Skyscanner will lead us to the website of the travel agency or airline that offers the best price, and there simply follow indications to make the booking. Please, have a credit or debit card in hand to quicken the process.
